The complex sits at the high point of the traditional village of Piskopiano with sky and mountains as a backdrop and sea vistas at the fore. Stone houses, narrow streets, taverns, barSf shops, coffee shops and friendly locals fill the village as well as a museum of country life nearby. The two other traditional villages of Koutouloufari and Old Hersonissos are well within walking distance.
The lively and entertaining town of Hersonissos with its beaches and old harbour lies about 800 metres away, though taxis are readily available. Nightlife and eating places, offering food from around the world, exist here as well as many gift and other shops.
